The Thief is a character in the computer game Trine. She is the first playable character in the game. She has heard of an artifact and has decided to steal it but when she got to the object her sole was joined with a wizard and a knight.
The Thief uses a bow and arrow and can shot a slingshot to attach and swing from any wooden object, this slingshot does not hurt enemies. You can charge her bow and arrow to fire faster more powerful arrow. She later gets fire arrows and the ability to shoot multiple arrows. The arrows are unlimited so there is no need for ammo.
The slingshot can be used to solve a lot of puzzles most of the time in combination with one of the other characters powers. The slingshot enables her to solve most easy puzzles the fastest, it might take some time to get used to but once you are it works like a charm. The length of the slingshot can be increased at will, this allows you to swing at and land on more places.
When you charge the bow and arrow you can still move around but you must be on the ground to fire it, this works very well and creates a new play dynamic. But the bow is best used from a distance, lots of the times you can kill the enemies before they even get to you. If the enemies are not aware of you remember charge the bow first to get maximum damage on the first hit.
She can also effectively run while shooting the enemy. This combined with the slingshot makes it easy to run to a higher platform while in combat and easily kill the enemy before it reaches you. The Thief is a great addition to the game and is very fun to play.
